Heroes of Graxia – Άλλο ένα παιχνίδι στα χνάρια του Dominion!

To Dominion χωρίς αμφιβολία αποτέλεσε παιχνίδι σταθμό στο χώρο των επιτραπεζίων. Η επιτυχία του ήταν τεράστια και ο σημαντικότερος λόγος της ήταν ο βασικός deck-building μηχανισμός του παιχνιδιού. Λογικό ήταν λοιπόν πολλά παιχνίδια να αρχίσουν να εκμεταλλεύονται κι αυτά τον ίδιο μηχανισμό, πράγμα που βλέπουμε να γίνεται όλο και πιο συχνά. Έτσι, μετά το Thunderstone, το Arcana και το Ascension (το οποίο ακόμα δεν έχει κυκλοφορήσει), έρχεται και το Heroes of Graxia να μπει στο χώρο των deck-building παιχνιδιών.

Πριν λίγο καιρό είχα γράψει για το Guardians of Graxia, ένα παιχνίδι από την Petroglyph Games που αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει εντός του καλοκαιριού. Το Heroes of Graxia όπως μπορείτε πολύ εύκολα να καταλάβετε εξελίσσεται κι αυτό στον ίδιο κόσμο με το Guardians αλλά πέρα από αυτό πρόκειται για 2 τελείως διαφορετικά παιχνίδια.

What is Heroes of Graxia the Card Game?

Heroes of Graxia will contain more than 240 unique cards, as well as miniatures in a non-CCG deck-building theme. Obtain for your deck the best Weapons, Armor, Spells, Armies, Henchmen, and Mercenary cards. Conqueor enemies by playing these cards on a gameplay table in a sequence of turns with other players.

How is Heroes of Graxia played?

The game is played similar to other deck building card games, though is not a collectible card game at this time. Starting with a basic deck of 12 cards, players build their empire by buying with in-game resources the best cards to prepare them to out-maneuver other players to obtain trophies and prestige.

Gaining Prestige Points & End-game

As Players defeat Units and Heroes of opposing Legions, they gain Prestige by taking the appropriate Prestige Point cards and placing them in their Loot Pile. These points are tallied at the end of the game to determine the winner. Player’s may examine the Loot Pile of each other at any time.
